    Jis per ki tum ne baat kahi
    Wo per buhat hi soona tha
    Jab khizan ka mausam aaya tha
    Na koi musafir aata tha
    Na koi churiya gati thi
    Na koi Sawan aata tha
    Ik chilchilati dhoop thi
    Na koi paas saaya tha
    tab ham ne khizan k patto ko
    Iss per se Chuna tha
    K Phir bahar ka mausam aaye ga
    tab Panchi geet sunaaye gay
    Phir se sawan aaye ga
    Raaton main jugno chamkay gay
    Falak pe sitaro ki tarah
    Ik shaakh pe chakoor chanda ko
    Raato ko jaag k dekhay ga

    Tab ham ne wafa ki thi tum se
    Din raat tumharay paas rahi
    Jab tum ko kabhi pyasa dekha...
    Ankho se ik barsaat hui
    Ham ne khizan k patto ko
    Chunnay main buhat dhoop sahi
    Ab dhoop ki sakhti chubhti hai
    Per chaaon kisi k naam hui
